Frequently asked questions
What geographic areas do you cover?
I'm based in North York and serve clients throughout Toronto, the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and all of Ontario.
What is the difference between a mortgage broker and a mortgage agent?
In Ontario, both are licensed by FSRA to arrange mortgages. A Level 2 agent such as me can place mortgages with all lenders, including alternative and private lenders, and can arrange commercial mortgages too. That matters when a bank cannot approve your file.
Rules and figures current as of October 2026.
